TCM looks at the underlying pattern behind menstrual concerns, and treatment is planned to address that pattern across your cycle.
Herbal medicine, acupuncture and warming therapies such as moxibustion are combined around your cycle rather than applied on a fixed schedule. Progress is reviewed month by month against how the cycle actually behaves, and the plan is adjusted with it.

- Your gynaecologist's care — tell both sides what the other is doing
Cycles change on cycle time. Most plans are assessed across two to three cycles rather than weeks, and the physician will tell you what they are watching for at each review.
If nothing is moving by then, the honest response is to change the plan or tell you TCM is not doing enough for your case — not to extend the same plan indefinitely.
Yes, and it should be alongside rather than instead. Investigations and diagnoses belong with your doctor; what TCM works on is the pattern of symptoms around them. Tell both sides what the other is doing.
Moxibustion warms specific points over the abdomen or back with a smouldering herb held at a careful distance — it should feel like deep warmth, never burning, and it is skipped where it is not appropriate.
The physician tells you the recommended plan and its full cost after your consultation, before anything is done — you decide with the numbers in front of you.
There is no obligation to proceed on the day. Prices don't change based on when you decide.
No. You will hear what we found, what we recommend and what it costs — then the decision is yours, at your pace.
If you'd like more time to consider or make comparisons, that's perfectly fine. We respect every customer's decisions.
