Skin Booster Prices in Singapore: What You're Actually Paying For
Skin boosters sit in an awkward place for price comparison. They are injectables, so they are priced like products — but unlike fillers, the visible effect comes from a course rather than a single visit. That makes a per-session number close to meaningless on its own.
1. Which preparation
"Skin booster" is a category, not a product. The preparations differ in what they contain — hyaluronic acid of various molecular weights, polynucleotides, antioxidant complexes — and in how much of it is in a vial. Their costs to the clinic differ substantially, and so do their indications. A preparation designed for thin under-eye skin is not the same as one intended for overall facial hydration.
2. Volume
Quotes are usually per vial, and vials come in different volumes — commonly 1ml, 2ml or 3ml. A 3ml quote and a 1ml quote are not comparable, and a full face generally needs more than the smallest option. When you are comparing, normalise to volume first.
3. The course, not the session
The standard protocol is monthly sessions for the first few months, then maintenance every few months. A single session produces a limited and short-lived effect. If you are budgeting, the number that matters is the first three months plus maintenance — not one visit.
4. Who injects
Injectables are a doctor's procedure. That is part of the cost, and it is not a place to look for savings.
Downtime belongs in the comparison
Small raised bumps at each injection point are normal on the day and usually settle within one to three days. Occasional pinpoint bruising lasts a little longer. This is a treatment to book with a few clear days after it, not the afternoon before an event — and that scheduling cost is real even though it does not appear on an invoice.
How to compare two quotes
- Which preparation, by name, and how many millilitres per session?
- How many sessions in the initial course, and at what interval?
- What does maintenance look like after that, and how often?
- Is topical numbing included in the appointment time?
Once you have those four, most of the apparent price gap between clinics resolves into different amounts of product and different course lengths.
What people usually get wrong
Confusing skin boosters with fillers. Both may contain hyaluronic acid, but a filler is a firm gel placed to create structure in a specific place, while a skin booster is a fluid spread through the dermis to change skin quality. They are priced differently because they do different things — and if you buy one expecting the other, you will be disappointed regardless of what you paid.
Realistic expectations
Skin boosters improve hydration, light reflection and fine crepiness. They do not lift, they do not fill a hollow, and they do not remove pigmentation. Within what they do, they work well; outside it, no amount of spending helps.
Why we don't publish a number here
Because a number on a web page would be a guess. The right dose, the right settings and the number of sessions all come out of looking at your skin — and quoting before that is how people end up paying for treatment they did not need.
You get the full cost at your consultation, before anything is agreed, and we would rather tell you a treatment is not worth it for you than sell it.
